2003 MGTF in Trophy yellow with 36,000 miles which will increase slightly as it's my daily driver. It is a 1600cc so cheap insurance, don't presume its a slow car because at 115 bhp it's only 5 bhp less than the basic 1800cc 120 bhp variant. There have been some improvements and it now has......
Remote locking
1.8 technical centre console and cluster surround
Alloy 1.8 gear knob
Full leather including centre console and door cards (with tweeters) from a VVC model
Leather steering wheel from a VVC model
Alpine rear speakers
6 'square' spoke alloys from a VVC model
Colour coded exterior handles
Colour coded electric mirrors
Alpine CD player
Mudflaps
New MG badges
If the black side vents are colour coded this is 1.8 VVC spec minus the engine.
The paint work is very good condition with on very close inspection a couple of small rust spots appearing under the paint and the odd stone chip here and there. The exterior mirrors have been painted with a 'can' so not perfect but very good. I'm trying to be as honest as I can but it's very good for an 11 year old car. The worst panel is the bonnet but this is in hand (another sourced by stocktake, and just sorting collection) the car has 10 months mot and has just had rear discs and pads which were advised at mot, it has 6 months tax. I get it mot'd by a very very strict mot tester who advised surface corrosion on the subframes and coil springs and a brake pipe. A new rear screen was fitted before I got it as were the head gasket, water pump and cam belt with receipts to prove. There are 2 keys and 2 remotes. I'm looking for £1800 ono which at this mileage and condition is one of the best out there and although I love this car the reason for sale is I need more than two seats so I'm looking for another Rover coupe. If you happen to have a Rover coupe worth a similar value then I am open to a swap. Feel free to pm me any questions or for more photos.
