I see The Rally is now posted on this forum and I'm sure will be on the owners as in previous years. As Dave said it not about the club its about the people and the cars and not I have a better shine on mine than yours.. I'm sure we can all park together on the day and get what you want out of the day. However you do have to book your site. We booked parking for 25 cars last year and it proved to be a tight fit. A lot of us are members of several MGR forums so I don't see how it matters what forum you are a member off just fit in and enjoy the day.
Would it be worth asking to have two stands side by side and you can park with either as we appear to do at the POL.
You may have noticed I have booked a meet for the motor cycle museum 2nd Feb again I don't give a tinkers cuss what forum folks are from as long as you are supporting our cars=everyone is welcome.
It is surely a passion for the cars regardless of which or how many forums/ clubs you may belong to. I belong to the Morris Minor Owners Club, South Staffs MG Owners Club plus a couple of other local clubs. I can't get to all the events I would like, time and costs prevent that, I'm not really into museums, I go for the social side, although I realise there is a need for other attractions for children/ wives or others not interested in the cars. My personal passion is for Morris Minors but I love my 75 and long for it to become a modern classic. At the end of the day it's meant to going out and enjoying yourself, regardless if you like polished tail pipes or your car is a bit rough round the edges, life's too short not to enjoy. You do what you want to do, it's your choice.Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 0 guests
