MG ZT 1.8T 2004 mk1 X-Power Grey

Post Number:#1  Post by Cockaa » November 30th, 2013, 8:25

I am putting up for sale my mk1 MG ZT 1.8T 2004 in X-Power Grey.

I have owned the car for just under 2 yrs now & have had a no expense spared approach to keeping it maintained & is in great condition with the help of some tasteful upgrades.

The car has the drivers intelligence pack which consists of:

Rain sensor wipers
Reversing sensors
Auto dim rear view mirror
IPK (Instrument pack (IPK from the German)) with onboard computer

As many of you will know it is a very clean example & is a reluctant sale but have decided it is time to move on guys

I am the second owner from new & the car comes complete with service history, 12 months mot & a host of extras which i will try to put in a list below.

It has covered 127000 miles but still drives like a car with less than half that mileage.

Upgrades include:

Full contemporary se leather heated memory sports seats.
Immaculate 18" Apex alloys (recently refurbed) inc spare, all unmarked. Gun metal grey with Sparkle. All with good tyre tread.
Colour coded side skirts, (sports sill finishers).
Projector headlights.
Headlight washers with twin pump bottle & BBUS.
K & N Panel Filter.
Rear electric windows.
New BCU (Body Control Unit) with Auto boot function.
In dash Turbo boost gauge.
New genuine front & rear badges.
Jules plenum shield guard.
Plenum spyhole mod.
Stainless handbrake compensator.
Stainless slam panel bolts.
Blue illuminated Dash clocks, climate control unit & boost gauge.
Gold 2 speed fan resistor.
Black oak Dash.
Black oak steering wheel.
Black Header tank with new cap & seals.
Stainless Gerry t-piece.
Forge dump valve.
Illuminated sun visors.
Driver side Grab handle.
Carpeted heater enclosure panels.
Stainless brake duct grills.
New wheel & locking nuts.
Powerflex lower teardrop engine mount with original bush.
Also included are console auxilary & torch sockets with torch but not fitted.
New wheel & locking nuts.

If i remember anything else i will add it to the list.

New head gasket along with replacement cylinder head, Cam belt, Water pump, Cam belt tensioner & brand new turbo unit fitted less than 5000miles ago.
Recently fitted new auxilary belt & power steering belt along with new bottom intercooler hoses.
For the Mot on the 8th of November it had new front & rear Kunifer brake pipes fitted & had an advisory for worn discs which have now been replaced with new Pagid front & rear discs with new Pagid brake pads & the handbrake shoes adjusted.
New shannon tube.
Pollen filter.
Recent T4 (Testbook version 4.Computer Diagnostic System) Diagnostic with no fault codes.
Aircon regassed.
Replacement radiator.

I am looking for £1500 ono.

If you would like to know anything else then please feel free to PM me.

Thought i would see if any members on here are interested before i advertise the car elsewhere.

Hi Nige,
sad news about the "scene", I hope you'll stay active on the forums,
if you need to talk I'm only a phone call away
Will you still be doing the Nano's?
Best Regards

Probably one of the best 1.8Ts out there.

Sometimes its good to take a break from it all Nige...not sure you need to sell the car to do that though!

I'm not taking a break i'm getting rid, i've not got the time nor patience with these sites anymore, there's always some idiot who shoots you down for whatever opinions people have, keyboard warriors is all they are!
I've met some good friends who i fully intend to keep in contact with but apart from that when the cars gone i shall follow i'm afraid to say ;)

I never said it was the cars fault Carl, i'm just not into it like i used to be & am getting something more practical & comfortable to use, each to their own i guess ;)
Don't really have the time to enjoy it these days so thought i would give someone else the oppurtunity to carry on with what i've started & get some enjoyment out of it.
I certainly won't be giving it away for peanuts thats for sure.

Yep , anyone that has seen this car , will tell you its very clean , and lovely paintwork.
Its well worth the asking price .
What more could anyone want for that kind of money , with the list of parts and mods its had done .
if i were looking for a 1.8 turbo , this is the one, i would be parting my cash with for sure..
Just hope it goes to a good home.
