It is a 75 Dealer Launch, in fact its alleged to be the oldest dealer launch on the road if that means something to you then you already know the spec and are probably someone should should have it
The car does have some issues which are..
Rough change from 2nd to 3rd which I believe to be a cracked reverse piston and is repairable, it has been like this the last 2 years and never really changed, either for the worse or better
Drivers side wing was damaged and replaced with one that had already been repaired, the car comes with a far better one in the correct colour
Lines on the IPK, again it has a perfect replacement but this is not a straight drop in, although the usual suspects I believe can sort this out
Rust in the rear jacking points on both sides, but nothing disastrous, unlikely to need any welding for MOT
The VIS motor on the end of the manifold randomly works.. however the manifold itself is just fine
Tappet tick when stone cold in the morning, within a minute its gone
Heated seats blow the fuse, replace fuse they work, but next time you get in its gone again taking out the passenger seat electrics with it

under tray somewhat broken
I think it may need anti roll bar links
There are some good points!
Its a dealer launch.. so actually makes a Connie SE look almost underspecced
on top of that it has the dimming mirror and the drivers side cup holder and the half wood gear knob
Sat Nav with BMW Mk3 drive (not the rover one) there is also a BM54 to go with it
4 winter tyres with fewer than 1000 miles on them
Engine pulls well
85K ish
Both keys, with the rover logo on
MOT till august
It is due the cam belts, which come with it, not due to miles but age, its already had one set (at 30K)
While I have not painted a great picture this is a basically sound car (Actually its a very nice car) unfortunately I have 6 other cars and its time to cut down!
In view of the issues it does have I am not looking for a lot for it, in fact as long as it goes to the right person I am unlikely to refuse an offer, however I am perfectly aware of what the parts from this are worth and do not want it heading for a breaker, or somewhere to sit for years before giving up! It will be available when I have removed the LPG system as that is going on the next car (Don't worry, the filler was mounted where you would expect to find a tow bar and I used a spare set of lower inlet manifolds so the only thing you will have to deal with is the hole in the boot floor) I will post some pics up soon
