That's very odd. A 51 plate is only up to February 2002, but the MG ZT 160 with 1.8 Turbo was not announced until October 2002.

A prototype development car I assume. The earliest I had seen previously was on an 02 plate.

I also need a barn! This wont do! I have a picture of a BD02 1.8T prototype, but this obviously pre dates that one by a fair bit!

The advert says first registered 17/12/2001. The implication is that the 1.8 Turbo was in development in the summer of 2001- it must have gone through type approval to be registered? Or else the advert is wrong and it doesn't have a turbo at all.

Well I've just run it through Car Check and it does come up as a 1.8T, so it is indeed a very early car! :o
