Ragley Hall - Annual Event ?

Ragley Hall - Annual Event ?

Post Number:#1  Post by Trebor » April 24th, 2016, 12:22

Now the dust has settled after last weekends great meet, I just want to give a massive thumbs up to Ragley Hall as a meet venue and hope others will agree.

I have been and still do go to lots of meets taking in many venues and Ragley Hall is possiby the best of the lot in my opinion.

So a plea from me to make it an annual event and if you dont I may have to consider getting a Number 10 petition off the ground so questions can be asked !

Agreed 100% and let's get it in the diary as soon as possible !
My father enjoyed it too, he says that it was the first time he had been there since he led a Home Guard platoon in a mock attack on the Hall some 75 years ago!

We have been talking about this as a bi-annual event but no doubt we will be having more discussions on this! :-)

Yes I think i know what you meant Zeb but can now use it as a bargaining tool to give way on bi annually and accept annually instead

Yes, initially my thought was to hold this event every other year after POL. However, if enough interest, we could hold an annual rally, a bit later in the year. Feedback and thoughts welcome on this.

I'm glad folks enjoyed the weekend, a great deal of thanks to those who made sure it happened.

Ragley Hall - Annual Event ?

Post Number:#9  Post by Muck » May 6th, 2016, 4:02

The idea to make Ragley Hall an annual event is a good one. For us, coming from the continent, it would be better if it takes place on Sunday after POL. It's a pretty long journey and doing this twice in a year ...
I don't know.

I would like to see it as an annual event. I also agree with Muck for those who travel over very long distances same weekend as POL would be much more cost effective. Great day out thanks looking forward to next year.
